Posted: 13:32:18, Tuesday, Aug 16, 2022   Expiration: 20:32:18, Friday, Sep 30, 2022

Students may choose to opt out of Engage materials for their course. This news item is for students whose instructors are choosing to utilize an Engage eText or publisher digital learning tool (DLT). If you are unsure if your instructor is using Engage, please contact them to verify.

If your instructor is using an Engage eText or DLT but you would like to opt-out, you can do so starting Aug 16 for the fall 2022 semester. It is highly recommended that you first speak with your instructor to determine any potential obstacles with opting out.

If you need an accessible version, please get in touch with the McBurney Disability Resource Center.

More information about opting out, including additional considerations and how to complete the opt-out process, can be found in this document. If you have questions or concerns about this or need to opt back in, please contact the DoIT Help Desk

Opt-outs (and opting back in) can be made through the 100% tuition refund deadline set out by the Office of the Registrar.
