[RESOLVED] - Turnitin service Issues

Turnitin is currently experiencing service issues.

5/4/26 5:10pm - Turnitin service has been fully restored. Any affected submissions are being automatically resubmitted. If for any reason you have submission that haven't been processed, you can do so manually with the Resubmit to Turnitin button.

Outage description

As of 5/1 Turnitin has been experiencing service issues and is currently performing emergency maintenance. Turnitin has noted that this is related to a recent confirmed security incident issue reported by Instructure: https://status.instructure.com/incidents/9wm4knj2r64z. 

Impact to Users

During this time, instructors and students may not be able to generate new similarity reports for assignment submissions.

There are no known workarounds at this time
