Users Unable to Create Canvas Assignments or Announcements

Starting at approximately 6:20 PM (CST) on June 21st and ending at 12:00 AM June 22nd, users may been unable to create, edit, or publish assignments. They also may have been unable to create announcements in courses.
Instructure was able to identify the cause of both issues. At 8:20 PM, they were able to deploy a fix to allow the creation, editing, and publishing of assignments. At 12:00 AM, they deployed a fix to allow the creation of announcements. They will continue to monitor for issues, but Canvas should be operating as expected.
