Some schools and colleges provide additional support for their instructors and instructional staff. Learn@UW-Madison assists everyone who uses the tools we support, but we recommend first contacting the following groups if you are part of the mentioned school or college.
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
In concert with campus-provided academic technology services, CALS Learning Technologies provides support for faculty, students and CALS Academic Affairs in addressing questions and issues regarding learning technologies.
Wisconsin School of Business
The Teaching and Learning Support team provides services and support to meet the teaching-and-learning technology and analytics needs within the Wisconsin School of Business.
School of Education
Media, Education, Resources, and Information Technology (MERIT) consultants can be contacted for support with instructional technologies, educational resources, and course design.
College of Engineering
Instructors in the College of Engineering are supported by Collaboratory for Engineering Education and Teaching Excellence (CEETE), whose mission is is to partner with faculty, instructional staff, administration, and other areas on campus to support and continuously improve teaching, learning, and the student experience in the College of Engineering.
Engineering Professional Development (EPD)
The Interdisciplinary Professional Programs (InterPro) provides technical support and consultations for the other Engineering departments.
College of Letters and Science
The L&S Instructional Design Collaborative provides support for course design and instructional technology, as well as up-to-date facilities, equipment, and training.
School of Medicine and Public Health
The Educational Technology consultants, within the Academic Information Services IT group, offers support and consultations, provides guidance and support to faculty and staff who use technology to meet their educational objectives.
School of Nursing
The School of Nursing’s Academic Technology department offers SoN faculty, staff, and teaching assistants consulting, assistance, and training/development in the effective use of technologies that directly support teaching of SoN timetable courses in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
