User guide for students who need to print something in Morgridge Hall. Covers how to print, the Papercut software, and locations of printers within the building.
Student Printing Instructions
Note: all printers will charge for each page printed; make sure you have enough money on your Wiscard account before printing.
Students currently can print in black and white using the printer in the CDIS Commons on the second floor. More printers will be added in the future, including one in the basement, but for now, use the CDIS Commons printer.
Here at Morgridge Hall, we use a software called PaperCut to enable wireless printing. In order to print your document, please:
- Visit https://print.wisc.edu/ and sign in with your NetID.
- Select "Web Print" from the left hand menu.
- Select "Submit a Job" at the top of the page.
- All Printing is only available in black and white
- Select the CDISPR-Student-Print-Duplex (virtual) for Double-Sided printing
- Select CDISPR-Student-Print-Simplex (virtual) for Single-Sided printing to print to this print station.
- We do not currently have a color printer available.
You prints will be charged to your wisc account.
If you experience any difficulties, please speak to staff at the information desk in the Commons. Should that be insufficient, please email it@cdis.wisc.edu for additional support.
