Tabling Guidelines for Morgridge Hall

This is a Summary of the tabling guidelines for internal and external groups in Morgridge Hall.

Engagement Table in Morgridge Hall

Organizations wishing to table in Morgridge Hall must receive permission from the Director of the CDIS Commons to the benefit of CDIS students and Morgridge Hall building residents. The organizations information does not imply endorsement by CDIS departments at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

1st Floor Engagement Table

Description: One, 5ft rectangular table near the main staircase on floor 1, adjacent to the Ground Truth Cafe

Timing: Available for a 2-4 hour reservation. Time slots 12-2PM and/or 2-4PM Monday-Thursday

Who can table:

  • Official Registered Student Orgs (RSO) at the University of Wisconsin Madison
    • All RSOs are expected to follow the UW Student Org Code of Conduct RSOs are responsible for staffing their own table, this is not the responsibility of the Commons
  • Corporate or Career partners as organized by the CDIS Director of Corporate Relations
  • UW affiliated graduate or degree programs or Student Support Staff
  • Campus or Community outside partners in the service of students with permission from the Director of the Commons

Materials: No taping, nailing, or stapling to walls, floors, or ceilings. Standing sign holders are available upon request from the information desk on the 2nd floor. Do not remove any existing signage on the 1st floor space without permission

2nd Floor Engagement Table in the Rebecca M. Blank Student Commons

Description: One, 5ft rectangular table in the carpeted area near the large wooden Commons deks

Timing: Available for a 2-4 hour reservation. Time slots 12-2PM or 2-4PM Monday-Thursday

Who can table:

  • CDIS RSOs - registered with the Commons at Morgridge Hall
    • All RSOs are expected to follow the UW Student Org Code of Conduct RSOs are responsible for staffing their own table, this is not the responsibility of the Commons
  • CDIS affiliated graduate or degree programs or Student Support Staff
  • Corporate or Career partners as organized by the CDIS Director of Corporate Relations
  • Campus or Community outside partners in the service of students with permission from the Director of the Commons
