Accounting: Becoming an Authorized Driver
To be eligible for any type of vehicle rental, and mileage and/or parking reimbursement you must first be an authorized driver with the University. Every employee should become an authorized driver.
Please note that Vehicle Use Agreement submissions requesting driver authorization take 10 business days for processing.
Effective 4/28/25: Most out-of-state drivers holding a valid US driver’s license no longer need to submit a driving record with their application. These individuals will receive an email from HireRight after submitting their Vehicle Use Agreement (VUA) application. The email will have instructions on how to authorize the vendor to obtain their driver’s license.
