Why UW? I chose UW Health because of the many rotation opportunities that would prepare me to be a leader in specialty pharmacy. Pharmacists are very involved with transitions of care at UW Health and practice at a high level, which demonstrates the strong commitment to patient care. Throughout pharmacy school I had the opportunity to complete rotations at UW Health, where I found that pharmacists are a well-respected and learners are welcomed by the interdisciplinary care team. The preceptors are dedicated to supporting residents as they achieve their residency goals and the entire department fosters a welcoming environment.
