The combined Master's degree and residency in Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at UW Health is designed to provide the resident with a solid background in academics and the administration of exemplary pharmaceutical services across an integrated health system.
Meet Our Program Director
Meghann Voegeli is the Director of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations and Pediatric Services at UW Health and Clinical Instructor at the UW School of Pharmacy. Meghann is also the program director for the Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency and Master Program at UW Health. Meghann received her Bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point and PharmD and Master’s degrees from UW-Madison. She completed her residency training in Health System Pharmacy Administration at UW Health.
Meghann is actively involved in several professional organizations including American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW), and Vizient.
Meghann’s professional interests include leadership development, operational efficiency, automation and technology, quality improvement, medication safety, workforce training and development.

Why UW? The UW Health pharmacy administrative program’s legacy of leadership development, resident mentorship, and dedication to patient care is second-to-none across the nation. When choosing between pharmacy administrative residency programs, I prioritized gaining the hands-on experience of progressing the profession of pharmacy to better patient care. UW Health uniquely challenges residents with hands-on responsibility of top department priorities and presents opportunity for each resident to leave their own leadership legacy. I ultimately chose UW Health to learn from the some of the best pharmacy leaders in the nation while continuing my pursuit of leaving a legacy on patient care in my home state of Wisconsin. Hobbies: Hiking, visiting state parks, exploring breweries, wineries, and new restaurants around Wisconsin, watching sports and live music, and spending time with family

These individuals continue to build a strong legacy of fostering leadership development and dedication to patient care. Hobbies: Long distance competitive running, health and fitness, listening to music, and traveling to Walt Disney World

Hobbies: Hiking state park trails in the summer, exploring corn mazes and picking apples in the fall, cooking and cross-country skiing in the winter, welcoming the farmers market in the spring, and enjoying Wisconsin staples like cheese curds, bratwursts, and Old Fashions all year round.

Residency Project: Evaluation of an intravenous compounding robot for anticipatory sterile stock medication production
Career Interests: Areas of interest include pharmacy leadership development, pharmacy practice advancement, inpatient pharmacy operations and automation, optimizing patient outcomes, and pharmacy supply chain. Upon completion of my HSPA residency, I aim to obtain a pharmacy leadership, then executive leadership position, at a large academic medical center.
Hobbies: Sports (especially soccer), traveling, exploring new restaurants, as well as spending time with family and friends.
