In SIS

Staff with access to student record information can view a student's assigned advisors in SIS by navigating to Student Records WorkCenter > Student Advisor or Records and Enrollment > Student Background Information > Student Advisor.

Your security determines if you can view and update a student’s advisor information.

• If you have advisor inquiry access, you will be able to view.

• If you have advisor update access, you will be able to add, change, delete, and view.

Advising Gateway

The Advising Gateway provides a single point of access to student record information for advisors (primarily those who work with undergraduate students). Advising Gateway users will be able to view an individual student's assigned advisors.

Advising Gateway users who are also advisors will have a "My Advisees Tab" that contains a list of their assigned advisees for easy access to advisee records.
