ECMS - Business Insight Use

This document explains how to use the ECM Business Insight Service

This KB document details the steps necessary to access and run reports in Business Insight.

    1. Sign in to Business Insight with FireFox as a browser: ImagingBI.Services.Wisc.edu/ibmcognos/bi/

    2. Select the UW_System_Users namespace

    3. Credentials are your NetID or PantherID

    4. Click on Team Content and select the ImageNow Departmental Contacts Reports folder, for example
      Click on Team content and then select a report

    5. Select a report and click on the ellipsis (...) which appears to the right revealing the "Run as" command
      Select a report and click the ellipsis to reveal the "Run as" command

    6. Select a Format for your report, ("Excel" is the recommended format) then click Run
