Log in to UW-Madison Google Workspace

1. Go to https://apps.google.wisc.edu/.

2. Enter your NetID credentials when prompted.

3. Click on your netid@wisc.edu email address.

   Note: If your NetID is linked to multiple email accounts, you may see a list of additional email addresses. From this list, you can select the desired account. If you do not see multiple accounts listed, you can skip this note.

4. After you log in, you'll be taken to Google Drive where you can see folders and files that were created by and shared with your UW-Madison Google Workspace account.

Tip: If you have a personal Google account and a UW-Madison Google Workspace account, you are encouraged to create separate browser profiles (ex: Chrome user profiles) to ensure that you are logged in to the correct account. Learn more: https://kb.wisc.edu/13926#separate.

Log in to UW-Madison Google Workspace using a Microsoft 365 service account

1. Go to https://apps.google.wisc.edu/.

   Recommendation: If you have multiple UW-Madison Google accounts (e.g., netid@wisc.edu, service@domain.wisc.edu), use a different browser for each account. You can learn how to create different profiles using your web client below:

   2. Chrome: Create Chrome browser profiles

   3. Safari does not allow users to create individual browser profiles.

2. There are two options to log in to a service account:

   Option 1: Via your NetID credentials if the service account is linked to your NetID.

   Option 2: Entering the service account’s credentials.

3. Once you're logged in, you'll be taken to Google Drive.

4. Although you're logged in as a service account, your experience should be the same as logging in to your netid@wisc.edu account.
