Kaltura - MediaSpace Standalone Playlists compared to Channel Playlists [UW-Madison]
Playlists are a great way for you to aggregate and organize media in a particular order that is meaningful to your viewers/students. Just like individual media you have hosted in Kaltura MediaSpace, you can link to and embed playlists. Within Kaltura MediaSpace there are two different types of playlists: channel playlists and standalone playlists. This document outlines the differences between them and links to more information on each type of playlist.
Playlist Item Limits
In most cases playlists may be limited to 150 items.
Standalone Playlist vs. Channel Playlist
Standalone and channel playlists have significant differences that will affect whether or not you use one or the other. Please review the following table for a feature comparison. In general the channel playlist is more current with regards to Kaltura player features.
