URGENT: Brief Service Outage Scheduled at 5 p.m. (2/9/09)

The Learn@UW service will be taking a brief service outage at 5 p.m. today (Monday, February 9) to resolve an unexpected issue. The service will be unavailable to all UW institutions for approximately five (5) minutes.
The Learn@UW Utility group states: "We've identified an unexpected issue with the procedure for backing up the production Learn@UW file server. Due to the nature of the issue, we need to take a full service outage at 5 p.m. today (2/9). We anticipate that the outage should only take a few minutes, should everything go as planned."
We apologize for the brief interruption in service and appreciate your patience.
