Learn@UW Intermittent Slowness

A temporary issue with Learn@UW may cause brief periods of very slow response time from the application.
This issue has occurred previously on the following dates (all times listed are approximates):
- July 19 (Th) 12:06p - 2:21p
- July 20 (Fr) 4:31p - 4:40p
- July 26 (Th) 3:28p - 3:40p
- July 31 (Tu) 2:42p - 2:47p
We are working with the Learn@UW vendor, Desire2Learn, to install fixes until this issue is resolved. The Desire2Learn CEO has assured the Learn@UW Executive Committee that this issue has the full attention of his organization.
In the meantime, if Learn@UW seems to be running slowly you can report the issue to the DoIT Help Desk. However, it's likely that the slowness will subside in a matter of minutes (typically 3-5 minutes).
We understand that this type of ongoing system performance problem can be frustrating. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are doing everything we can to see that the issue is fixed soon.
