Template
A pre-built structural framework or document layout that guides KB authors on how to organize, format, and write support articles. Instead of starting with a blank page, document creators use templates so every article shares a uniform design, standard headings, and required metadata.
Temporary Appointment
An at-will position with no expectation of continued employment, capped at 1,044 hours worked in 26 consecutive bi-weekly payroll periods, nonexempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and lasting one year or less (based on the start date of the appointment).
Temporary Employee
An employee serving a temporary appointment.
Terminated
This is both a potential motion that can be made by the IRB upon review of a reportable event, as well as a state in ARROW. Studies that are in the terminated state can be forwarded to the end state, Archive, by the IRB submission manager or will be automatically archived after 18 months.

Topic
Act as a primary means of creating ease of navigation for KB end-users. They can be compiled to generate a visual Topic Tree or Site Map on both internal and external KB live sites.
Topic Tree
A hierarchical organizational structure used to classify, store, and manage KB articles. Like folder directories on a computer, a topic tree maps out the relationship between broad concepts (parent categories) and specific sub-topics (child folders or articles) to provide an intuitive navigation structure for both KB administrators and end-users.
