Minutes for January 22, 2025

UC members present: Bernard-Donals, Kendall, Li, Stein, Zweibel

Others present: Michelle Felber, Lesley Fisher, Mallory Musolf, Julie Scharm

Chair Li called the meeting to order at 12:31 pm. 

Jim Stein shared his revised resolution. The University Committee approved sponsorship of the resolution.

University Committee members agreed that interested individuals should send comments to the UW System representatives future of higher education report.

Kendall motioned, and it was seconded and approved, to convene in closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. 19.85(1)(c) and (f) to discuss waivers and committee appointments at 12:50 pm. Six tenure clock extensions were approved.

Bernard-Donals motioned, and it was seconded and approved, to reconvene in open session at 1:03 pm.

Li adjourned the meeting at 1:03 pm.
