About the Biochemistry IT Department
Department of Biochemistry researchers and staff have access to a variety of information technology and computing resources available to the Department of Biochemistry. The Biochemistry IT Group installs and maintains the department-specific and department-owned resources.
The IT Group also co-manages the 21st Century Network, VPN, Firewalls, Antivirus and Software Update Management with UW DoIT. During hours the Biochemistry IT Group isn't staffed, you can contact the DoIT Help Desk for UW provided services, hardware repair and support.

If you are experiencing issues with a computing resource and are unable to find the information you need on the IT portion of the Intranet, please open a ticket using the Biochemistry Help Desk.
Accessing the Job Board
This means you must be:
- On the campus wired or wireless network, or
- Connected through the campus VPN, or
- Physically in a campus building using campus internet
You can always email helpdesk@biochem.wisc.edu to create a ticket via email.
