Campaign Planning

  • #UWSOAR - Primarily used during our summer months; our biggest and boldest hashtag. We also reintroduce this hashtag during winter SOAR to answer questions for any new students coming for January SOAR. Use #UWSOAR to connect new students to news, resources, tips, advice and FUN.
  • #WIWelcome - Used in the first few weeks of each semester, CFYE highlights academic and social events crucial (and fun!) to the beginning of a student's Wisconsin Experience. Cross-promotion with many Division of Student Life offices makes this hashtag richly populated with a diversity of opportunities and events. 
  • #futurebadgers - As more and more students receive their acceptance letters, this hashtag helps us connect with new incoming students, answer their questions, and celebrate their achievements. It also builds a relationship with CFYE that has the potential to last throughout their entire college experience. This hashtag will be used when discussing potential, interested, and admitted students.
  • #uwtransfers - Used throughout the year. Used to promote Transfer Transition Program, Transfer Ambassador programming, and to highlight the transfer student identity.
