Slate is the Graduate School's application management system beginning January 2024, admitting its first cohort of graduate students for the Spring 2025 term. Used by hundreds of higher education institutions across the country (including several other Big Ten graduate schools), Slate is a comprehensive client relationship management (CRM) platform developed by Technolutions.

Like its CRM predecessors in the Graduate School, Slate will help our graduate programs facilitate their admissions processes. Slate is a speedy and reliable cloud-based software that can handle a high volume of applications. After a competitor analysis of other major vendor-based solutions, the Graduate School determined that Slate addressed our needs and constraints best. The Graduate School is excited about Slate's capabilities and plans to continue looking for opportunities to leverage this software.
