Tuition Remission for Graduate Assistants Holding RA and PA Appointments (Surcharge)
The transition to Workday has changed how the university processes tuition remission for graduate students holding research assistant (RA) or project assistant (PA) appointments. Beginning July 1, 2025, with the launch of Workday, the previous $6,000-per-semester surcharge was replaced by the actual in‑state non‑dissertator graduate tuition rate.
