GSTS - Academic Requirement Progress Report
The purpose of the Academic Requirement Progress Report is to provide information to students pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The report shows course and milestone requirements a student has completed, or will need to complete. This information should be used to create a plan on satisfying the requirements necessary to earn the degree being pursued, and is meant to empower a student to better know what is needed regarding a degree program’s requirements. Even with this information, it is still important for a student to interact with the program’s advisor(s) and/or coordinator(s) on a regular basis.
For every Graduate Program the student is enrolled in, there will be a collapsible section available to mark the progress of that specific program. Sections that are collapsed indicate that you have met those requirements for the degree.
You can expand the section by clicking the green triangle to the left of the text . Within that section, you will be informed that you have satisfied the components as well as be able to review the information by expanding the individual sections. The Program Requirements section is specific to the program you are enrolled in and the degree that you are pursuing. The Graduate School Requirements section will have information that is necessary for all students pursuing a graduate degree at UW-Madison. Specific details regarding the master's requirements can be found at the Graduate School page. The Informational Data section captures additional coursework taken that does not satisfy the requirements of either the Graduate School or the specific program you are enrolled in.
Sections that are expanded as you view the report indicate that you have not satisfied these requirements. The sections may also provide recommendations to help satisfy the requirements.
