Articulate 360 - Publishing to Canvas LMS

This document explains how to customize your Storyline 360 or Rise 360 files, export them, and publish them to Canvas.

   

Storyline 360

1. Customize your Storyline 360 file

  1. Open Home and select Player

  2. Edit Features

    1. Choose which player tabs you want to appear in sidebar

      1. Any Escape or Exit buttons need to be manually created

    2. Select Title box to edit and show the title of the program

    3. Choose which side you want the sidebar to appear

    4. Under Player Controls, check the box beside the controls you want participants to have access to:

      1. Play/Pause

      2. Volume

      3. Captions (Select ONLY if you have captions setup on each slide. This is a manual process)

      4. Accessibility Controls

      5. Full-screen

      6. Seekbar > allow drag after completion
        (Selections are dependent on Player Style)

  1. Select a Player Style

    1. Choose modern or classic

  2. Set Controls to ON

  1. Under Colors & Effects, modify to your preference

  2. On the Other tab, select the following options:

    1. Browser Settings

      1. Select box Launch player in new window (creates launch page)
        Select box allow learners to resize browser

  1. Connectivity Alert

    1. Prompt to resume

  1. Select OK to save changes

2. Export your file and import to Canvas

  1. Open Home and select Publish and LMS/LRS

  2. Reporting and Tracking

    1. Check the Report to an LMS box

    2. Choose SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004

  3. Select Publish

  4. Your file will download as an exported .zip file

  5. Upload the file to Canvas.

Rise 360

  1. Select Publish > LMS, and then choose SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004

  2. Choose your Tracking preference:

    1. Course completion

    2. Quiz result

  3. Choose reporting expression

  4. Turn on Exit Course Link

  5. Select Publish

  6. Your file will download as an exported .zip file

  7. Upload the file to Canvas
