Atomic Assessments - Accessing Simplified View

This document explains a new simplified view that Atomic Assessments users can opt into.

Atomic Assessments has a new simplified view. This view changes to how assessments are created and edited. This is currently enabled on all courses, but you have the ability to opt-out of this change. Starting January 8, 2025, it will be changed everywhere and the old look will be gone. Here is how you can opt-in and see the upcoming changes to the product. 

  1. From any course, go to Atomic Assessments in the left side menu.

  2. Click on the three dots on the top left of the window.
    The three stacked dots menu can be found after "new assessment"

  3. Check the “Use the new Simplified UI (Beta)” option.
    You can select a checkbox titled "Use the new Simplified UI (beta)" listed after "Content Manager"

If at any time you would like to opt out, feel free to do the same steps above, but uncheck the option in step 3.
