HelioCampus AC - Known Issue - Survey Results Display for Excluded Instructors

In HelioCampus AC, some instructors will see surveys listed on their dashboard, even if they were not surveyed.

    In HelioCampus AC, some instructors will see surveys listed in their My Course Evaluations widget, even if they were not surveyed. Survey data appear on the dashboard widget and on reports. However, instructors will see less information than they would for evaluations where they were included. Also, instructors cannot access the survey results.

    Even if an instructor is excluded from the survey, the course related information is still tied to the course. If the instructor has a role in the course being surveyed (such as “instructor”), HelioCampus allows that course section’s data to be displayed.

    Affects

    This issue affects HelioCampus AC users who hold the role of Instructor in a course where another instructor was included on a survey.

    Status

    HelioCampus AC reports that they are investigating this behavior to explore ways it can be improved in the future, but they have not announced a timeline of when to expect these improvements.

    Workaround

    There is currently no workaround.
