How to have the Cisco Jabber software installed on a computer.
University Owned Computers
The Cisco VoIP team cannot install the Cisco Jabber software for any user.
To have the Cisco Jabber software installed please contact your local IT department. Contract users supported by DoIT should have a case sent to General Departmental Support. When a department migrates to Cisco VoIP the software is provided to the department contact or IT department.
Personally Owned Computers
Cisco Jabber is not currently available on personally owned machines due to safety implications with the required E911 software.
