Our World in Data presents research and data to track progress on the world's most pressing problems. Infographics of national, regional (continental) and global statistics help visualize the data in a powerful way. See here for an example of a 4 min. video explaining the carbon foot print of various food, which was created based on the data published in a article published in 2018 by J. Poore and T. Nemecek in the magazine Science.

U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) has pages on Climate Change an a page on climate change indicators, which includes a 2014 report, and links to numerous other relevant sources of information.

NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA) has a Global Climate Change Monitoring database which includes historical temperature and precipitation time series data as well as weather events (fires, drought, extremes, snow and ice, etc.)

FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS (FAO): Statistic Division Databases includes historical time series data (national, regional, and worldwide) related to: Agricultural Production, Trade, Food Balances, Prices, Investment, Inputs, Emissions-Agriculutre, Emission-Land Use, Agri-Environmental Indicators, and more!

USDA Agricultural Yearbooks: Agricultural Statistics of the United States Department of Agriculture is published each year to meet the diverse need for a reliable reference book on agricultural production, supplies, consumption, facilities, costs, and returns in the United States. The yearbooks (going back all the way to 1936!) include selected international statistics as well. The chapters, each of which focus on a specific commodity, are organized into individual PDF documents.
