Canvas - Known Issue - New Analytics Unavailable on Large Courses

In Canvas, people accessing New Analytics from a large course may see an error message.

When accessing the New Analytics feature in a large course (over 1500 students), you may receive an error message stating “Sorry, this course is too large to be loaded”.

Canvas error message: "Sorry, this course is too large to be loaded". The message is displayed with decorative desert imagery.

Instructors and staff of a course over 1500 students

Status

This issue is present as of 12 June 2024. The vendor has been notified and is working on a solution.

Workaround

There are currently no workarounds for this issue.
