UW–Madison Marketing Resources
Office of Strategic Communication
The Office of Strategic Communication provides leadership that guides UW–Madison's communication strategy. IMC shares PDC press releases with University Communications for sharing across campus and media outlets. Programs can also work with their school/college/department to submit information to University Communications for sharing or promoting information and events. Learn more on the Office of Strategic Communication website.
Social Media Guide
University Communications has created a Social Media Guide that focuses on best practices for popular platforms and links to helpful tool kits.
UMARK
University Marketing, also known as UMARK, serves as the central marketing and brand office for the University of Wisconsin–Madison. UMARK plays a critical role in all of the university's major communication and marketing efforts. They provide helpful resources such as brand guidelines, style guides, and other useful marketing resources.
Brand and Visual Identity
The UW–Madison brand is built on an idea — the Wisconsin Idea. For more than a century, this guiding principle has inspired Badgers to push beyond the boundaries of campus and improve people's lives around the world through education, research, and public service. Our brand platform embodies this unstoppable Badger spirit. Explore the brand library to learn more about applying the brand to print, web, social media, and access tools and templates.
UW Photo Library
The UW–Madison photo library is a collection of professionally shot images capturing the spirit of the UW–Madison brand and the energetic vibe of campus. Some photos can be downloaded and used according to the UW–Madison Photography policy.
