Overview

This document outlines the steps required to setup ArcGIS once it has been installed on your group's Virtual Machine.

Processes

Setup

1. Launch the Virtual Machine that has ArcGIS installed on it following standard procedure
2. Find ArcGIS on the Desktop
   1. 
3. Once it loads, and if this is the first time you, as the user, are signing in, this screen will appear
   1. 
4. Change the "License Type" to Named User License
   1. 
5. Select ArcGIS Enterprise
6. Enter the URL: https://bonne.gis.px.wisc.edu/portal
   1. 
7. Enter your ArcGIS Enterprise username and password
   1. Note: you will receive these credentials after submitting a request for a license in our portal

 This is expected to be a one-time process per Virtual Machine per user.
