ECMS - User and administrator accounts and requirements
This document explains ECMS user and administrator accounts and requirements
[Doc 8386 content is unavailable at this time.]
Account request procedure and requirements
- All manual account requests must be made by a Data Approver via the JIRA process for ImageNow (see KB-41763)
- In addition to the information required for account creation listed in KB-41763, a requested user must have a valid appointment at the requesting institution at the time of the account request. If the user loses their appointment, their account will be deactivated. They may request re-activation once their appointment is renewed or if they obtain a new appointment. If an Imaging account is needed for someone without a paid position in the requesting institution, a zero-dollar appointment will need to be secured for that person.
- Imaging user accounts will need specific groups provisioned for access depending on what institution provisioned their appointment, see KB-117339.
- Most Imaging user account requests require a completed end-user compliance form available at KB-78768.
- Normal user account requests (including optional privileges) must be approved by the business unit’s data custodian.
- Administrator account requests must also be approved by the Imaging Team.
User accounts
User account privileges vary and are determined by the custodian of the data who created your account request. User accounts in the Imaging system are used to process documents in workflow and batches, scan and link documents, search and view documents.
