DoIT Departmental Tech Support provides desktop support and LAN administration for the departments listed below. Departments are grouped based on various levels of support provided by the Help Desk. If there are any questions please see HDQA for assistance.

Legacy DS/CPS Supported Contracts

Customers in the following organizations are supported by Help Desk Contract Partner Support (formerly Level 2). If the Help Desk receives a call, chat, or email during CPS business hours (7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday), transfer the customer to Pick 5. Customers in the following departments may not have DS Contract Partner flags in WiscIT at this time and receive specific services from DS. Customers who are not flagged will need to identify which contract they belong to. Once you have identified the appropriate support contract, during CPS business hours, log the case and transfer the customer.  See DoIT Departmental Tech Support - Handling Information (Contract Partners).  If it is urgent, use the call tree below to get a hold of a DS Manager.

  • Farmer Short Course (One time computer rental event in the Fall Only)
  • UW-Madison Police Department (OS Deployment, Managed Security Layer Only) 
    • UWPD is only supported by US-DS SEAM
