Lumen Program Proposal: Accessing the System
All of the Lumen tools, including Lumen Program, are accessible via the MyUW portal. All UW-Madison permanent university staff, academic staff, and faculty who have an appointment in an academic division within the university are automatically given access to create a view proposals. Others who wish to access the system, and/or those who wish to be added to the system in an approver role, should use the online Request Access for Lumen Courses, Programs, and Structures form to request access. Once you access the Lumen widget via the MyUW portal, click on Lumen Program to access the academic program section of Lumen.
A few notes on using the Lumen system:
- Lumen works with a variety of browsers, with the following specifications:
- Internet Explorer (10 and 11) (Note: Internet Explorer must not be in compatibility mode.)
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox (10+)
- Google Chrome (20+)
- Apple Safari (5+)
- Users often have to upload documents to the Lumen Program form. Uploading files requires Adobe Flash Player version 9+.
