Guide: Inserting In-line Courses

This document provides instruction on how to place a link to courses within the text.

Inserting In-line courses

  1. Edit the tab/program in which you want to add in-line courses.

  1. Type out the text that you want to display (the short description and the correct course number)

  1. Select the Course.

  1. Click on the “Insert/Edit Database Field”

  1. The text should automatically connect with the course in SIS when using the correct short descr and course number.

  1. If you need to edit in-line text (or select from an inaccurate course), double click on the blue box and the in-line box should pop up.

  1. You can select the accurate course, or change a course if needed.  Click “OK” and “OK” will save the changes.

  1. If you want to edit the format of the displayed course, select the “Format:” dropdown.  This can be useful if you only need the course number, instead of the number and course title.
