Canvas - Our Wisconsin course [UW-Madison]

This document describes the “Our Wisconsin” noncredit course, and explains troubleshooting and referral steps for common issues in the course.

About Our Wisconsin

Our Wisconsin is an inclusion education program created to raise awareness of the diversity within our student population and to encourage an environment in which students are free to share their experiences and identities. Students are required to complete an Our Wisconsin interactive online module, which they access from Canvas.

The Our Wisconsin experience consists of a required online inclusion course, follow-up online survey, and additional in-person programming opportunities. For more information on the course, including deadlines to complete content, please see this page on the Office of Inclusion Education website, or the Our Wisconsin homepage in Canvas.

Accessing the Our Wisconsin Course

  1. Navigate to Canvas, and log in using your NetID and password.

  2. Open the courses tab from the left sidebar.

  3. On the courses page, select Our Wisconsin (the current semester) to open the course.

  4. On the registration page you may be asked for additional information to complete the creation of your account. You will not need to create an additional username or password.
