Scott Knishka, RPh, BCNP

Position: Manager, Nuclear Pharmacy Services, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Education/Post Graduation Training: PharmD with a specialization in nuclear pharmacy at Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Board Certified in nuclear pharmacy since 1995.

Organizational Involvement: Operations manager for the Nuclear Pharmacy at University Hospital and the Radiopharmaceutical Production Facility located in the Wisconsin Institute of Medical Research, professor and course coordinator for Medical Imaging for Pharmacists (611) and Radiopharmaceuticals (612) at the UW School of Pharmacy, guest lecturer for the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Currently serves on the University of Wisconsin Executive Radiation Safety Committee, the University of Wisconsin Campus Radiation Safety Committee, The VA Radiation Safety Committee, UW Health Human Radioactive Use Committee, MRI Safety Committee, UW Radioactive Drug Research Committee, and a member of Purdue University‚Äôs BCNP Recertification Program Editorial Board.

Current Projects/Initiatives: Submission of aNDA of NH3-Ammonia, Development of drug master files and submission to the FDA for F-18 PYL, F-18 FLT, F-18 FES, and F-18 FFNP

 

Angel Kubly, PharmD

Position: Clinical Instructor, Clinical Pharmacist at UWHC since 1988, Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist since October, 2015

Education/Post Graduation Training: BS in Pharmacy, University of Wisconsin; pharmacy internship, UW Hospital & Clinics. Practiced in critical care, cardiology, cardiac surgery/transplant through 2016. Completed the requirements for Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and University of New Mexico Health Science Center in September, 2015. Currently practices in nuclear pharmacy.

Organizational Involvement: UW Health Human Radiation Use Committee, Clinical Instructor for Medical Imaging for Pharmacists (611) at UW School of Pharmacy, Preceptor for UW School of Pharmacy PharmD students

Current Projects/Initiatives: Projects include inbasket messaging for Nuclear Pharmacy, protocol revision and cost saving initiatives in nuclear pharmacy
