WiscIT - One-Step Overview
One-Steps are configurable tools within WiscIT that allow of the automation of processes, as well allowing users to run a certain action at their convenience.
Using One-Steps
Creating One-Steps
WiscIT Officers are able to design and build their own One-Steps. Additionally, a WiscIT Administrator can help you design a one-step that fits your needs by emailing wiscit@doit.wisc.edu.
Additionally, there is documentation on how to configure logical expressions as well as the difference between variables/stored values:
- Configuring Logical Expressions: WiscIT - Expressions and Logic
- Difference Between Stored Values and Variables: WiscIT - Update a Variable or Stored Value (One-Step Configuration)
Configuring Steps
These refer to the configuration of the individual steps that are within the one-step action. Not all steps that are in the editor are documented here, as they are rarely used by the WiscIT implementation. See the previous section for how to create or modify a one-step, where you will be able to configure these individual steps.
