Guide: "Select from the following" in course lists

This document provides instructions on how to create a "select from" list within a course list table.

How to do the “Select one course from the following”

  1. Make sure your heading is set up in the proper way (see Table Help for detailed instructions on how to start a table).  Put “Select one course from the following” in the comment section (or when you click the "Add Comment Entry".

  1. Fill in the courses either through the drop-down menu or by using the “Quick Add” feature.  Make sure to check the “Indent” tab so it will show as a list within the “select” statement.  (This also removes the quantity of credits from the right hand side of the table)

  1. If you have a cross-listed course, it will automatically populate once you save.

  1. If a student is required to take two classes to fulfill the requirement, fill the “Sequence” line with the required courses to fulfill the requirement.

  1. Click “OK.”

    1. Finished Course List

  2. Click “OK” to save.

*NOTE: You CANNOT do a "sequence" course AND an "or" course.
