Why UW? As an APPE-RT student at UW Health during pharmacy school, I was exposed to many supportive preceptors dedicated to my growth and learning, the forward-thinking culture, and the high-level of pharmacy practice at UW Health. What led me to return to UW Health to complete a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care residency is the caring, positive, and supportive preceptors, growing ambulatory care services, and dedication of the health system to providing exceptional patient care. Additionally, the UW Health pharmacy team has a drive to continue to expand the boundaries of pharmacy practice and is devoted to precepting and teaching pharmacy learners. I believe UW Health will provide me with the resources and experience I need to become a confident and independent ambulatory care pharmacist and leader in pharmacy practice. I look forward to expanding my clinical knowledge through my experiences in various ambulatory care clinics over the course of the residency year. I am grateful for the opportunity to join the UW Health family as a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care resident. Go Badgers!
