Why UW? I chose UW Health because it offers practice experience in a variety of clinical specialties. UW places a strong emphasis on collaborative practice to provide high quality patient care. The system values the field of pharmacy and allows its pharmacists to directly impact patient care. Being a large academic medical center, the program has preceptors who are passionate about their work and helping develop future pharmacist practitioners. With the opportunities and autonomy available to the residents, I am positive that I will develop the skills I need to become a well-rounded ambulatory care pharmacist.

Why UW? I worked at UW Health as a pharmacy technician during my undergraduate studies and throughout pharmacy school. What brought me back to UW Health to complete a PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency is the notable culture amongst staff and the focus across the healthcare system to provide remarkable health care. Additionally, UW Health offers me the opportunity to expand my knowledge within the ambulatory care space while getting the opportunity to work close with preceptors who go above and beyond. I am grateful to be apart of the UW family!
