Why UW? I chose UW Health for residency because I knew this program would provide a level of training that I wouldn't find anywhere else. As a PGY1 resident, I was trusted to make clinical decisions and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team within my first month of training, with independent staffing early on that allowed me to strengthen my skills and practice at the top of my license. Working in a large academic medical center like UW provides me with endless opportunities to learn from pharmacists and other providers who are incredibly committed to teaching. My preceptors both support me and push me to grow on a daily basis, and I am confident that my training here will help me become a successful clinical pharmacist that can make a meaningful impact on the health of my patients. I am looking forward to continuing my PGY-2 training in ambulatory care at such an amazing institution!

Residency Project: Evaluation of a Primary Care Provider and Pharmacist Co-visit Model
Career Interests: I am interested in many areas of ambulatory care pharmacy. My main interests are in endocrinology, cardiology, and primary care.
Hobbies: I like to watch and play soccer, golf, video games and also love to dance.
Why UW? I wanted to continue my professional development with UW Health because of the opportunities that UW Health has to offer. I am able to experience many different clinical areas of pharmacy and also stay close to a college of pharmacy allowing me to work closely with students and learn to become a better preceptor.
