Residency Project: Ciltacabtagene-autoleucel Outcomes Retrospective Analysis
Career Interests: My career interests include solid tumor oncology, cellular therapies, clinical research, and pharmacy education with a preference for outpatient cancer care. I plan to pursue a career as an oncology clinical pharmacist at an outpatient clinic associated with a large academic medical center.
Hobbies: My hobbies include skiing, running, rock climbing, watching basketball, cooking/baking (poorly), and playing the guitar (also poorly)
Why UW? While completing my PGY-1 residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, I worked with the oncology specialist who completed her PGY-2 residency in oncology at UW heath while on rotation through our bone marrow transplant service. She had many great things to say about the institution, the culture, and the oncology pharmacy department and convinced me to apply! Additionally, UW Health offers training at an NCI-designated cancer center conducting cutting edge research and providing patients with the highest level of cancer care.

Why UW? I chose UW Health because I wanted a residency that would challenge me clinically while supporting my growth as a pharmacist. The preceptors are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in teaching and mentorship. I was especially drawn to the flexible rotation structure, which allows me to explore diverse areas of interest. This combination makes UW Health the ideal place to build a strong clinical foundation.

Residency Project: Evaluation and Implementation of Standardized DPYD Testing
Career Interests: I haven't found one oncology subspecialty that I would call my favorite, as I tend to find something I love about every area I experience. In the future, I hope to practice at an academic medical center where I can combine patient care, research, and teaching. I am passionate about contributing to the continued advancement of oncology pharmacy practice while educating and mentoring future pharmacists.
Hobbies: Outside of residency, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a book, and playing video games. I also love spending time outdoors, especially hiking and exploring new places.
Why UW? I chose UW Health because of the opportunity to gain broad oncology experience at a comprehensive cancer center while continuing to grow in research, teaching, and advancing oncology pharmacy practice. I was especially drawn to the variety of inpatient and ambulatory experiences, strong pharmacist involvement in patient care, and opportunities for mentorship. Throughout the recruitment process, it was clear that the program was genuinely invested in resident development and tailoring the year to each resident’s goals, making UW Health an ideal place to grow as a clinician, researcher, and educator.
