Why UW? I originally came to UW Health because when talking with previous residents they really seemed to enjoy themselves. They had a light to them that was exciting to see because residency can be a stressful time. The current residents bonded really well and I heard stories of activities and fun adventures they did together as residents, and I truly believe that was something I wanted to be a part of. The reason I stayed with UW is because I wanted a program that would challenge me and help me think in directions most wouldn’t think about to be the most prepared for any situation. Our preceptors do just that, they push you to be practicing at the top of your license. They truly want you to succeed and want to help you in anyway they can.
