Why UW? UW Health is a high-volume transplant center that performs all common organ transplants. The transplant pharmacy team is made up of knowledgeable, compassionate pharmacists who are always looking for ways to advance both pharmacy and transplant practice. Transplant pharmacists are well integrated into the interdisciplinary team, maximizing the positive impact a pharmacist can have on patient care. This program provides the opportunity to experience abdominal and thoracic transplant, inpatient and ambulatory care practice settings, and participate in transplant research. UW offered everything I wanted in a residency program, and I am so excited to be staying on at UW to train within this program.
