Risk Management - Certificates of Insurance Program - Get a Certificate of Insurance (COI)
A certificate of insurance is a document verifying that an entity has insurance coverage, who it covers, the effective date of the policy, the types of coverage, dollar amount of limits, and deductibles.
This program will provide up-to-date insurance information if you need to:
- Provide a non-university organization with proof that UW-Madison has insurance coverage; or
- Need to know if a vendor already has certified their insurance coverage with the university.
